SLEEP

Gettin’ some ZZZZZ’s! One of the most important components to Well Being is sleep. Sleep allows our bodies to regenerate. Without it, we would die. Our bodies would simply give out.

Achieving good sleep is individualistic and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. I acknowledge that it is more difficult for some people than others to fall and stay asleep and I can partner with you to discover what you could adjust to get better sleep.

SLEEP

30 minutes prior to climbing into your bed, turn off the TV, your phone, and computer. Brush your teeth, get into your PJ’s or your birthday suit (whatever you choose to sleep in or without), and completely prepare for sleep. Turn on a guided meditation or calming music.

Note the time you begin to listen to meditation and then note again the time of your first yawn or head bob. This is the amount of time you need to allow to drift off to sleep. Now you know how much time to give yourself in the evening to wind down. Creating a new routine for bedtime can benefit Well Being in so many ways.
