Cut beef into chunks.
Heat oil in frying pan on high heat. Sear all sides of beef.
In bowl, combine all seasonings, broth, vinegar, lime juice, and whisk together.
Add beef to bottom of slow cooker. Poor marinade over beef. Add bay leaves. Cook on low 8 hours.
When cooking is complete, shred beef using two forks. Remove bay leaves. Cook an additional 10 minutes.
Serve with corn tortillas, fresh cilantro, fresh shredded cabbage, sliced avocado sour cream, and chopped green onion.
