What is Advocacy?

As a health coach and Well Being Advocate, I support my clients while they make step-by-step shifts in their food intake and lifestyle choices so that they permanently reach their goals. I partner with and support them to do this in a way that’s enjoyable and easily integrated into their lives.

Well-Being vs. Well Being

The phrase “well-being” is used a lot in the health industry. The standard definition of well-being is “the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy”. I use the phrase unhyphenated because the two words stand on their own and have a different meaning that way.

I believe the unhyphenated phrase to mean “a human (being) who is well” or “a healthy or good existence (being)”.

Holistically, there are many things that contribute to Well Being, like relationships, career, and spirituality. I refer to these particular things as, “Primary Foods”. You can see that these are not things we consume for nutrition or to fuel our bodies; they do however, play an immense role in our Well Being.

Working with me, you will learn all the “Primary and Secondary Foods” specific to your life and determine in what areas you want to give more attention.

ABOUT ME

Over a decade ago I had to search through the infinite amount of information on the internet to help me with a newly diagnosed auto-immune disorder. The doctors were empathetic but could only offer me a pill that “may or may not help” me.

It was up to me.

I knew it would take a lot of effort, many attempts, and a lot of bumpy roads. During this time, I would have given anything for a partner to guide me through all the information.

That’s what I want to be for you.

I want to partner with you to inspire the change that you seek. I’ve been there. I understand the overwhelm. I walk with you on your journey step by step. There are many options to work with me and we’ll find one that works best for you.
